EU Communication
My Erasmus exchange in Iceland 2010-2011 changed my life in the most fundamental way and allowed me to find my passion for videomaking by capturing these special moments that happen all around us.
To this day I still hope to motivate and inspire people with my videos to go abroad and to experience the world out there. Some examples on how we can make your campaigns shine by capturing an event and using the material to explain the idea behind it. We are One - United in Diversity |
University Communication
It might come as a surprise but I actually graduated in Philosophy and Psychology and now you are here reading about what kind of videos we can do together. The story is a bit longer of course but I believe that videos about education can play a critical role in promoting lifelong learning and inspire individuals to pursue their education to reach their full potential.
Science and higher education communication efforts can be greatly enhanced by using videos to explain complex ideas in a concise and visually engaging way. Thus making it easier for people to understand and engage with scientific concepts as much as education itself for the sake of it.

Event Communication with Instant-Videos
In today's fast-paced world, waiting weeks for an aftermovie is simply impractical because by the time the video goes online a million different things happened in the world already and short period of relevance for the event is gone.
Instant-Coverage offers the cost-effective solution with simultaneous video and photo capture all done by one person on the same day. With Instant-Videos and Instant-Photos, you can communicate in real-time while events are still happening by sharing short videos and professional photographs on social media. |
Some of my passion projects:
Sometimes you simply have to follow your heart and create what you want...
"A Lonely Dance" was conceptualised during the first lockdown in March 2020 when I saw my city completely empty and I wanted to capture this historical moment.

This video with ESN was filmed during the first Erasmus Generation Meeting (EGM) 2022 and I tried to answer the question: How do you explain to your Mum what you do and why you are volunteering?

FAQ:

As every lawyer will tell you: "It depends..."
On the one hand I offer Instant-Video Production for a fixed amount of 1.000€/half day and 2.000€/day in the Lake Constance Area and Internationally at 3.000€/day (+1k for each additional day abroad) when I'm covering events with multiple short videos for social media throughout the day and create the final video directly afterwards. At the same time I'm taking pictures which will be delivered on the same day.

Every regular video production has it's own needs and the cost depends on various factors such as the scope, complexity, and specific requirements of the project as well as how many videos shall be produced. The more budget we have available for our production the higher the production value will also be when it comes to planning time, equipment, crew size, location etc. But check below some of the main points to consider:

I have a last minute request is it possible?
Yes, last minute requests are possible.
Please keep in mind that I'm usually fully booked at least 2-3 months in advance with multiple projects running simultaneously and I'm planning my production schedules accordingly.
A last minute request will mean an increase in workload and working overtime on my side which will be charged at a higher rate.

Do you work alone or in a team?
Most projects I do are usually planned as a one man production since the production will be much cheaper for my clients and at the same time more profitable for me since I do every job rather than getting a film crew of 10 people and have 8 standing around waiting (and getting paid) while the cameras are rolling.
Most of my projects you see here on my website I have executed as a one-man production but always in close collaboration with my clients who organised the events, took care of locations or interview partners.
Some productions require multiple people on set and in this case I can reach out to my vast network of professionals and fill the needs.

Do you handle all aspects of production, including scripting and editing?
Yes. Since I'm working as a video producer for over 10 years I will also handle all aspects of the production in close collaboration with my clients. This way you only have one contact point throughout the entire project.
How long does it take to receive the final product?
Instant Event Videos will be done on the spot almost instantaneously and everything will be delievered before the end of the day.
Regular productions on the other hand can take a few weeks to months including the pre-production to develop the narrative, find interview partners and locations all the way through the production days and post-production. While filming and editing can be quite fast it usually takes the most time to receive feedback from high stakes projects until everyone had time to provide feedback.
Slate productions where we produce a whole series of videos can take several months up to years as well depending on the project scope and framework contract.
