Lifelong learning and education never stops
As a graduate in Philosophy and Psychology, lifelong learning was always a key part of my daily life with my passion for on videomaking and the simple desire to make better videos by studying the craft. This journey never stops and there is always more to learn, new fields to explore no matter how unrelated a topic might seem to videomaking. On a broader scale, through education the doors opened for me to leave my tiny hometown, go to study, go abroad and find what I'm truly passionate about and talented in.
Educational institutions, ranging from esteemed German universities to non-profits and foundations are in search of a partner who comprehends the intricacies of their communication needs within the academic environment. Doodt Media proudly collaborates with educational entities, understanding the value they bring to individuals and society at large. I provide solutions tailored for science communication, drawing on over five years of experience working closely with universities.
My commitment is to empower education as a cornerstone for advancing lives and contributing to a brighter future.

Freedoms for Governance
|
As part of the Excellence Strategy, the University of Konstanz has decided to promote constant change through excellent corporate management. A building block for this is the promotion and further development of the scientific support staff. Projects from this target group are intended to strengthen the University of Konstanz's future viability and ability to renew itself.
Under the motto "creative.together", freedom for creativity was also opened up for employees who support science. The university would like to develop the creative potential of all employees and absorb a wide range of ideas and impulses. |

Showing the welcome week at the University of Konstanz was a last minute project to capture the impressions of what is happening with the central goal to motivate freshmen to join the orientation week as the main starting point and to reduce the fears of new students to be lost in the beginning.

The Welcome Center of the University of Konstanz has been supporting international researchers and their families with the organisation of their stay in Konstanz since 2008. The team gives advice on all non-academic matters and provides our international trainees, visiting scientists and scholars with a single place to address all questions that arise during everyday life in a new hometown.
The voice overs are based on real reports from students and we developed the story around the five major fears students have before coming which are accommodation, paperwork, visa, language and social life. |
|
Kerstin Krieglstein is the new rector from the University of Konstanz and with the video we introduced her personally and professionally during the festivities of the "Dies Academicus".
Instead of going for the classical talking head where she talks about herself we followed the simple question from a student or employee perspective: "What is she as the new rector doing?". So we followered her for a few days to capture her impressions and work. |
|
On the 27.09.2018 two of the three Cluster-Initiatives were chosen to be funded under the framework of the "Excellence strategy from the country and counties" (Exzellenzstrategie des Bundes und der Länder).
The video was done within a week in collaboration with the marketing department from the University to celebrate the announcement and capture the moment. |
