Instant Video Success at the Eugen-Biser-Stiftung Conference: "Muslimisch. Bayerisch. Perspektiven auf Heimat"

On 2nd December 2024, I had the privilege of working with the Eugen-Biser-Stiftung and the Bayerische Landesverein für Heimatpflege e.V. to document their incredible conference, "Muslimisch. Bayerisch. Perspektiven auf Heimat." Held in the Bavarian State Ministry of Finance and Home in Nuremberg, this event was all about exploring the idea of "Heimat" (homeland) in a pluralistic society. With voices from politics, culture, and academia—including Bavaria's Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann and Spiegel editor Dunja Ramadan—it was a day full of thought-provoking discussions and inspiring ideas.

Real-Time Impact with Instant Videos:

Instead of creating a traditional aftermovie weeks or months later, the focus here was on Instant-Videos and Instant-Photos — a game-changing approach to event coverage. Throughout the day, I produced four short, thematic videos that were shared on social media in real time. By the end of the conference, I had also created a full aftermovie, which was shown to the audience during the event’s closing session. The reaction? A stunned and engaged crowd with many questions on how it is possible to create it this fast.

The Results Speak Volumes

• 4 Instant-Videos: Garnered 4,025 views during the event.
• Full Aftermovie: Premiered at the event and later achieved 1,032 views online.
• Overall Reach: Over 16,000 impressions, with 172 likes across 5 video assets.

These numbers highlight the real benefit of sharing multiple short videos during an event. They keep the momentum alive and the audience engaged while everything is still fresh.
