I am excited to share a remarkable collaboration that I had the privilege of being a part of over the past months. Working closely with the University of Freiburg, one of Germany's oldest and most prestigious institutions, we embarked on a project to bring their new mission statement to life—a mission deeply rooted in values that have shaped the university's legacy. Link: https://leitbild.uni-freiburg.de/ Our approach was straightforward yet profound. Rather than simply talking about these values, we sought to illustrate how they are woven into the fabric of daily life at the university. To achieve this, we set out to capture and share the real-life stories of members within the university community. These stories served as living embodiments of Quality, Openness, and Responsibility. A key factor in the success of this project was meticulous pre-production planning. We left no room for uncertainty, planning the shooting day down to the minute. This precision allowed us to film everything in a single day, minimizing disruption to the busy schedules of our interview partners.
By conducting pre-interviews, we not only ensured that our interviewees were comfortable and well-prepared but also strategically connected the three stories. We knew exactly which aspects to focus on once the cameras were rolling, resulting in a more efficient and impactful production process. As viewers follow the narratives of these remarkable individuals, they also embark on a visual journey through our picturesque campus where we can show some of the most important spots. What makes this project even more captivating is the seamless transition from one story to another. At the moments when these individuals cross paths, we not only showcase the beauty of our campus but also symbolize the profound interconnectedness that defines our vibrant community. I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the University of Freiburg for entrusting me with this significant project. It has been an incredible and productive journey, one that highlights the enduring commitment of this institution to its values and its community.

On September 13th, I had the privilege of collaborating with ICF Next and the European Commission to cover the State of the European Union Speech (SOTEU) by Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission. This year, the spotlight was on instant media production to support a group of young influencers with photography and video content. In an era where news and trends evolve at the speed of light, we recognized the imperative to switch from traditional after movies to embrace live reporting. Traditional after movies, while valuable in their own right and useful in many ways, often lag behind the pace of current events. For an occasion as significant as SOTEU, where time is of the essence, real-time content production is the new standard. My role as a media producer was to join a group of talented influencers to provide them with real-time, high-quality photographs and edited video content. Delivering content about their experience instantly and allowing influencers to seamlessly incorporate pictures and videos into their reporting on meetings with key figures like Ursula von der Leyen and Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, and many more. This not only enhanced their coverage but also maximized the outreach of SOTEU overall, ensuring that their young audiences across Europe were engaged and informed. I want to express our sincere gratitude to the exceptional team at ICF Next and the European Commission for their meticulous organization and trust in my capabilities to cover the event and together reaching a wider audience to show what SOTEU is all about.
